Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been declared the Lowest Bidder (L1) by Western Railway for a key contract aimed at strengthening signaling and telecommunication (S&T) maintenance operations. The project involves deploying round-the-clock manpower for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of signaling and telecom equipment across multiple locations in the Ahmedabad Division.
Valued at ₹40,41,60,533.80 (Rupees Forty Crore Forty-One Lakh Sixty Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-Three and Eighty Paisa only), the contract is set for a duration of two years.
This development reinforces RVNL’s growing role in supporting critical railway infrastructure and enhancing operational reliability across the Indian Railways network.
