Promax Power Bags ₹75 Crore Solar Project from HESCOM

Promax Power has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) from Hubli Electricity Supply Company (HESCOM), a Government of Karnataka undertaking, for the development of a 6.0 MW (AC) grid-connected solar power project.

The project will be executed under the Build, Own, and Operate (BOO) / RESCO model and will supply power for a period of 25 years from the commercial operation date. The contract is valued at approximately ₹70–75 crore over its tenure, with an interim tariff of ₹2.97 per unit (inclusive of taxes), subject to actual energy generation.

Reaffirming its commitment to renewable energy, HESCOM stated that “this partnership will significantly enhance the state’s clean energy capacity.” The project represents an important milestone in strengthening solar power generation in the region, supporting Karnataka’s renewable energy targets and contributing to long-term reductions in carbon emissions.
