Suzlon Lands 50 MW BPCL Wind Project in Madhya Pradesh

Suzlon Energy has been awarded a 50 MW wind power project in Madhya Pradesh by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), a Navratna PSU, as part of BPCL’s green energy transition strategy. An additional 50 MW project in Maharashtra was awarded to Integrum Energy Infrastructure. Both projects aim to meet the captive power needs of BPCL’s Bina and Mumbai refineries, supporting its goal of a 10 GW renewable energy portfolio by 2040.

BPCL has reaffirmed its commitment to becoming a Net Zero Energy Company for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2040. This contract adds to Suzlon’s strong order book, which stood at 5,622 MW as of March 28, 2025.

In April, Suzlon also secured two major orders: 100.8 MW from Sunsure Energy and 378 MW from NTPC Green Energy, reinforcing its leadership in India’s renewable energy sector.
