Sri Hanuman Biofuels' 248 Crore Ethanol Plant in Andhra Pradesh

Sri Hanuman Biofuels Private Limited is set to launch an ambitious ethanol production facility in Arugolanu, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. With a substantial investment of 248 crores, the project aims to produce 200,000 liters of ethanol per day, leveraging local agricultural by-products, primarily bagasse, a sugarcane residue.

The facility is designed to not only produce ethanol but also to harness the potential of bagasse for power generation. A co-located 6 MW power unit will utilize this by-product to generate electricity, showcasing a commitment to sustainable and efficient energy use. This integration of biofuel production with power generation enhances the project's sustainability profile and economic viability.

This project is strategically located in an agricultural zone rich in sugarcane production, ensuring a steady supply of raw materials for both ethanol production and power generation. This proximity to resources is expected to reduce transportation costs and carbon footprint, aligning with broader environmental goals.

The establishment of the ethanol plant is poised to provide significant employment opportunities in the region, from direct operations within the plant to ancillary support services and industries. This economic boost is anticipated to contribute positively to local community development and socio-economic growth.
