RCPL's ₹40,000 Crore Boost to 'Make in India' Food Processing

Reliance Consumer Products Ltd. (RCPL) has signed a ₹40,000 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries to develop integrated food manufacturing facilities across India.

The announcement was made during the World Food India 2025 event. As part of this initiative, RCPL will invest over ₹1,500 crore to establish food and beverage manufacturing units in Katol (Nagpur, Maharashtra) and Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh).

At Reliance Industries’ August Annual General Meeting, Director Isha Ambani highlighted RCPL as a key growth engine for the group, targeting ₹1 lakh crore in revenue within the next five years and positioning itself to become India’s largest FMCG company with a global presence.

RCPL continues to expand its consumer portfolio through acquisitions and in-house brand development. It has acquired Tagz Foods and launched a range of brands including Campa, Independence, Alan’s, Enzo, and Ravalgaon, significantly strengthening its presence in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
