BR Jindal Pet Industries Private Limited is developing a new Pharma and Cosmetic Pet Bottles Project in Ghatti, Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. The project is still in its early phases, but it is scheduled to be completed within 12-18 months. The project will have a production capacity of 100 million bottles per year and will manufacture a wide range of pharma and cosmetic pet bottles, including preforms, jars, and closures.
The total cost of the project is 32 crore. Around 200 workers, both permanent and temporary, are projected to be employed as a result of the project. The new facility will be built in the Ghatti Industrial Estate, a well-developed industrial region with easy access to highways, water, and power. The Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has also granted the project the appropriate environmental permits.
