Building West Bengal: Purulia Ispat Alloys' TMT Bar Unit to Boost Infrastructure

Purulia Ispat Alloys Private Limited is poised to make a significant impact in the steel industry with the establishment of a TMT Bar Manufacturing Unit in Purulia district, West Bengal. With a project cost of ₹36 Crores and spanning an expansive 12.59 acres of land, this initiative signifies a substantial investment in infrastructure and industrial development. The manufacturing unit is designed to produce 1,35,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of TMT bars, renowned for their high strength and durability, thereby meeting the burgeoning demand in the construction sector.

While awaiting environmental clearance from the West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB), the project is advancing towards commencement. Once operational, it is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting TMT bar production in West Bengal, addressing regional infrastructure needs and contributing to economic growth. Additionally, the project holds promise for generating employment opportunities in the Purulia district, fostering skill development and socio-economic empowerment within the local community.
