Maithan Ferrous Private Limited (MFPL) has launched operations at its new Ferro Alloy Plant in Bankura, West Bengal, with the activation of two 16.5 MVA Submerged Arc Furnaces. This marks a significant step in boosting the company’s production capabilities.
The facility is set to commence production next week, with a gradual ramp-up planned throughout September 2024. The phased approach will ensure efficient scaling of output as the plant gears up for full capacity.
This move aligns with MFPL’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in the ferroalloy sector and meet growing market demand. The plant will play a key role in enhancing the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
As production increases, the facility is expected to make a substantial contribution to MFPL’s overall output, strengthening its position in the industry.
Further updates on production milestones and capacity achievements are anticipated in the coming months.
