Pitti Engineering Ltd. (PEL) is set to significantly boost its production capabilities through a strategic acquisition of Dakshin Foundry Pvt. Ltd. (DFPL) for ₹153.12 crore. This move aligns with PEL’s strategy for inorganic growth and is expected to enhance its operational strength and production capacity. DFPL, with two manufacturing facilities in Hosakote, Bangalore, brings an installed capacity of 4,200 tonnes per annum to PEL.
The acquisition will enable Pitti Engineering to leverage DFPL’s expertise in high-quality castings, which includes ductile iron, grey iron, low carbon, and alloy steel grades. This complements PEL’s existing portfolio, which features electrical steel laminations, motor cores, and press tools.
DFPL’s integration is anticipated to bolster PEL’s manufacturing capabilities across various sectors, including renewable energy, power generation, and data centres. The deal is expected to be finalized within 15 days from the signing of the agreement, marking a pivotal moment in PEL's growth trajectory. This strategic acquisition will further position Pitti Engineering as a leader in the industry, enhancing its competitive edge in the market.
