UPEIDA Launches Land Allotments for Industrial Clusters Along UP Expressways

The Uttar Pradesh government is advancing its vision of transforming the state into an "Udyam Pradesh" by establishing industrial units under the UP Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (UPIMLC).

The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has begun land allotments for industrial and logistics plots in Unnao, Hardoi, and Sambhal. Entrepreneurs can apply for plots over 11.36 hectares in Unnao and 1.2 hectares each in Sambhal and Hardoi. These locations feature state-of-the-art infrastructure, including seamless connectivity, 24/7 power supply, dedicated water resources, drainage systems, and sewage treatment plants (STPs).

UPIMLC is developing industrial corridors along five expressways, ensuring the establishment of 29 self-sufficient clusters with strategic connectivity. Currently, applications are open for land allotment in Unnao, Sambhal, and Hardoi, with more clusters to follow.

  • Unnao Cluster: Covers 135.26 hectares, with a base allotment rate of ₹5,010 per sq. meter. It benefits from proximity to the Ganga Expressway, Lucknow-Kanpur Highway, and Lucknow International Airport.
  • Sambhal Cluster: Has an allotment rate of ₹4,640 per sq. meter and connects to the Ganga Expressway via Gajraula Highway and Hatim Sarai Railway Station.

Each cluster is designed with a well-planned road network, uninterrupted power, dedicated water infrastructure, drainage, and STPs. Entrepreneurs can apply for plots through the Nivesh Mitra portal, taking a significant step toward industrial expansion in Uttar Pradesh.
