Welspun Corp Ltd (WCL), a leading Indian manufacturer of large-diameter pipes, has secured a major export order worth ₹1,950 crore for the supply of coated Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW) line pipes and bends. This significant win raises the company’s consolidated global order book to approximately ₹19,300 crore, according to an official company statement.
The order, described as “prestigious” by WCL, will be executed from India and is scheduled for delivery across the financial years 2026 and 2027. LSAW pipes are vital for transporting liquids and gases, underscoring the strategic importance of this contract.
Globally recognized as one of the top three producers of large-diameter pipes, Welspun Corp has built a strong international footprint, operating across six continents and serving clients in over 50 countries. The company offers customized pipe solutions for both onshore and offshore infrastructure projects.
Beyond LSAW pipes, WCL also manufactures ductile iron (DI) pipes, stainless steel pipes, tubes, and bars—demonstrating a robust and diversified product portfolio. This latest order reaffirms Welspun Corp’s position as a major player in the global energy and infrastructure sectors.
