BEML Looks to Fuel Mining & Infra Growth from Chhattisgarh

BEML is considering establishing a manufacturing facility in Chhattisgarh to produce high-performance dump trucks, water sprinklers, and motor graders, catering to the growing demand in the mining and infrastructure sectors.

At the Investor Connect event in Bangalore, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai formally invited BEML CMD Shantanu Roy to invest in the state. He also presented the official “Invitation to Invest” to BEML’s Functional Directors in the presence of key ministers and officials.

BEML continues to expand its product portfolio, which includes motor graders, tyre handlers, and loaders. Chhattisgarh, with its pro-business policies, single-window clearances, zero-paper processing, and investor-friendly ecosystem, has emerged as a prime destination for industrial growth. The state's rich mineral reserves and robust infrastructure further strengthen its attractiveness for investment.

Recently, BEML was reorganized into 11 strategic business units and two micro strategic business units, with a focus on maritime and special economic zones.
