Hyderabad's Hub for Hypertension Innovation: KIMS-Sunshine & Medtronic

KIMS-Sunshine Hospital, one of Hyderabad’s premier healthcare institutions, has joined hands with global medical technology leader Medtronic to establish a dedicated centre for renal denervation therapy. This collaboration, formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), is focused on enhancing treatment outcomes for patients with resistant and uncontrolled hypertension.

The new centre will serve as a hub for advanced renal denervation procedures, featuring state-of-the-art technology and specialised care for complex hypertension cases. As part of the initiative, Medtronic will also support capacity building by providing training programmes and workshops to upskill medical professionals in the latest renal denervation techniques.

This partnership underscores the shared commitment of KIMS-Sunshine Hospital and Medtronic to advancing hypertension care in India. By combining clinical expertise, innovation, and education, the initiative aims to make a lasting impact on patient outcomes and healthcare delivery in the region.
