Godrej's ₹26,500 Crore Land Grab

Godrej Properties—a leading real estate developer—acquired 14 land parcels across key Indian cities in FY 2024–25, targeting residential developments with an estimated revenue potential of ₹26,500 crore, significantly surpassing its earlier guidance of ₹20,000 crore.

Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej expressed confidence in sustaining this growth momentum and hinted at exceeding the same revenue target in the current fiscal year. The acquisitions, made on an outright basis, span major urban centers including the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Delhi-NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Indore.

Notably, five plots were acquired in Delhi-NCR—three in Gurugram and two in Greater Noida—with a projected revenue contribution of nearly ₹14,000 crore. Other acquisitions include two parcels each in MMR, Bengaluru, and Indore, and one each in Pune, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata.

Godrej Properties continues to pursue a dual strategy of outright land purchases and joint developments with landowners to support its expansion. While the company remains focused on group housing, it is also scaling up its presence in plotted developments, particularly in tier-II cities.

Looking ahead, the company aims to launch projects worth ₹40,000 crore in FY26, underlining its aggressive growth trajectory and a particularly bullish stance on the Delhi-NCR market.
