Apparel retailer ace turtle has entered into a long-term licensing agreement with WHP Global to exclusively manage and expand premium denim brand G-STAR in India.
Under the partnership, ace turtle will develop G-STAR’s presence across standalone stores, shop-in-shop formats, and digital platforms, leveraging its tech-enabled, customer-first retail model. CEO Nitin Chhabra stated that the move aligns with the company’s strategy to scale global fashion brands in India’s fast-evolving retail landscape.
WHP Global’s Chief Commercial Officer Stanley Silverstein noted that the partnership marks a strategic step in G-STAR’s global expansion, expressing confidence in the brand’s appeal to India’s growing base of denim-conscious consumers. The collaboration aims to combine international design expertise with local market insights to strengthen G-STAR’s premium positioning in the Indian market.
