Yotta Data Services announced a significant development during the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, unveiling the inauguration of a cutting-edge Rs 500 crore data center in GIFT City, Gujarat. Teaming up with global computing giant Nvidia, Yotta is on track to launch an artificial intelligence data center within GIFT City by the end of March 2024. In collaboration with Tata Group and Reliance Industries, the US-based company is spearheading the establishment of innovative data centers.
Over the past five years, the company has dedicated a Rs 500 crore investment to construct the state-of-the-art facility, boasting a robust two MW power capacity. The G1 data center provides a comprehensive suite of services, including colocation, cloud services, managed IT solutions, and cybersecurity services, catering to the storage and processing needs of diverse use cases such as AI models and enterprise applications.
Marking its fifth facility in the country, Yotta has previously made strategic investments in other states like Maharashtra, totaling over 350 racks across its facilities. Situated in the IFSC zone, the GIFT City location aligns with the company's commitment to serving the needs of financial services companies. By storing data in accordance with the laws and regulations of their home countries, businesses in this zone can maintain data sovereignty. Additionally, the facility is equipped with the latest technologies, facilitating businesses in setting up and scaling their operations efficiently.
