UST and T-Works, India’s largest prototyping center established by the Telangana government, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate the development and deployment of Industry 4.0 solutions across the manufacturing, semiconductor, and automotive sectors.
This collaboration merges UST’s deep expertise in systems integration and digital engineering with T-Works’ cutting-edge prototyping infrastructure to create a robust "phygital" (physical + digital) innovation platform. The strategic alliance is expected to reduce R&D costs by up to 40%, enabling faster, more cost-effective product development for startups, MSMEs, and large enterprises.
As part of the partnership, UST clients will gain early access to advanced technologies, including AI-optimized CNC workflows, GaN power device prototypes, and subsidized semiconductor design libraries. UST will also station dedicated resources at the T-Works facility to support joint IP development—focusing on 5G-enabled Industrial IoT (IIoT) modules—and foster innovation through a UST-led accelerator program targeting automotive suppliers.
Together, UST and T-Works aim to build a strong, scalable innovation ecosystem, empowering Indian startups and enterprises to compete on a global stage.
