The Delhi Jal Board has greenlit major infrastructure initiatives totaling over Rs 24,000 crore to revolutionize the capital's sewage management and water supply systems.
Key projects include a 10-year, Rs 17,969.93-crore overhaul of sewer maintenance using a centralized 'One Zone, One Operator' framework backed by geo-tagged tracking. Additionally, a Rs 6,044.05-crore project has been approved to comprehensively refurbish South Delhi's water supply infrastructure, integrating real-time monitoring and systematic water auditing.
