Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited bids for the appointment of a consultant to carry out a feasibility study for establishing a municipal solid waste (MSW)–based compressed bio-gas (CBG) plant in Chandigarh.
The consultant will be engaged under a milestone- and deliverable-based contract to evaluate the technical, financial, and commercial viability of the proposed facility. The tender follows a hybrid execution model, as detailed in the scope of work.
The project aims to support sustainable energy development by converting municipal waste into clean fuel, thereby strengthening waste management practices and enhancing renewable energy generation in Chandigarh.
The contract duration is two months, and the deadline for submission of bids is 13 January 2026.
