Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation (KPTCL) has invited bids to strengthen the inner ring of Bengaluru’s 220 kV transmission network.
The project, valued at ₹249.04 crore, has a 24-month completion timeline and includes underground (UG) cable installation, civil works, testing, and commissioning on a turnkey basis.
The scope covers:
- Laying 220 kV, 1200 sq. mm UG cable from 400/220 kV Hoody to 220/66 kV EDC substation (13.93 km).
- Laying 220 kV, 1200 sq. mm UG cable from 220/66 kV Koramangala to 220/66 kV EDC substation (4.683 km).
The deadline for bid submission is April 14, 2025.
