NHPC Floats Rs 2003 Crores Tender for Dugar Hydro Project

NHPC has issued a tender for the civil work related to the 500 MW Dugar hydroelectric project situated in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.

The project entails a comprehensive scope of activities, encompassing the construction of diversion tunnels, hydraulic and mechanical works within these tunnels, a road tunnel, both temporary and permanent roads, two temporary bridges, upstream and downstream cofferdams, the main dam and spillway, plunge pool, main and auxiliary intakes, underground power house, bus ducts/tunnels, an underground transformer cavern, tail race tunnels for the main and auxiliary plant, and various associated adits and structures.

The stipulated timeline for the completion of the project is 63 months. The anticipated value of the contract is Rs 2003.11 crore.

Interested parties are required to submit their bids by the deadline of 19 December 2023.
