The Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh (APSPDCL) has invited bids for strengthening the 33 kV distribution network across the operation circles of Chittoor, Kadapa, and Annamayya.
The project includes replacing the existing 100 sq. mm AAA conductor with a higher capacity 157 sq. mm AL-59 conductor and constructing new 33 kV interlinking lines using both 100 sq. mm AAA and 157 sq. mm AL-59 conductors. The aim is to enhance network reliability and ensure an uninterrupted power supply to consumers on a turnkey basis.
The project duration is 18 months, underscoring the urgency of reinforcing the power infrastructure to meet rising electricity demand.
Bid submission deadline: 16 May 2025.
