KPTCL Invites Bids for 2x500 MVA Substation in Karnataka

Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation (KPTCL) is currently seeking bids for the establishment of a 2X500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation in Yalwar (Hadagali), Vijayapura taluk, and district in Karnataka.

The project encompasses the construction of a 106.01 km 400 kV DC line, a 39.433 km 220 kV DC line, and a 58.28 km 220 kV DC LILO line. Additionally, the scope involves erecting two 400 kV terminal bays at the existing 400/220 kV Kalaburgi substation and two 220 kV terminal bays at the existing 220/110 kV Indi substation.

Valued at Rs 707.58 crore, the contract will be executed on a partial turnkey basis, with a stipulated completion and commissioning timeframe of 18 months from the letter of acceptance to the contract award.

Interested parties can submit their bids until the deadline on 20 December 2023.
