Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has issued a tender for the execution of electro-mechanical (E&M) works along the Bhanupli-Bilaspur-Beri broad gauge railway line, which connects Rupnagar in Punjab to Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh.
The project involves comprehensive design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of E&M systems across tunnels T-1 to T-7, covering a 20 km stretch from chainage 0.000 to 20.000. Key components of the work include the construction of 33/11 kV and 11/0.433 kV substations, laying of 33 kV and 11 kV power cable networks, installation of diesel generator sets, tunnel ventilation and control systems, lighting, UPS systems, fire-fighting installations, and a SCADA monitoring and control system.
The contract is valued at approximately ₹186.19 crore and is to be completed within 18 months from the commencement date.
The deadline for bid submissions is 13 May, 2025.
