ACME Solar Powers Up with ₹2,491 Crore Refinancing

ACME Solar Holdings has successfully secured a Rs 2,491 crore long-term project finance facility for its 490 MW operational renewable energy projects across Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab. This refinancing arrangement, sourced from SBI and REC, covers projects with a proven operational track record: 160 MW in Andhra Pradesh and 30 MW in Punjab with a nine-year term, and 300 MW in Rajasthan for three years. The refinancing, structured under a co-obligor framework, has resulted in improved credit ratings for the Andhra Pradesh and Punjab projects, reinforcing ACME’s commitment to financial stability and cost efficiency.

As a frontrunner in India's clean energy transition, ACME Solar operates 2,540 MW of capacity and aims to expand to 6,970 MW in the next three years. This financing boost strengthens ACME’s financial standing, enabling continued growth and progress in clean energy development.
