The Ujjain–Shajapur region in Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a significant green energy and solar equipment manufacturing hub.
On 15 November 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated six industrial units in Shajapur, representing a cumulative investment of ₹8,174 crore and expected to generate more than 15,000 jobs. A key highlight is Jackson Integrated Solar’s new production facility, backed by an investment of ₹7,104.89 crore. The region will also see major infrastructure upgrades, including a 38.95 km four-lane highway connecting Ujjain and Maksi.
The creation of this green manufacturing cluster is set to boost solar equipment production, strengthen MSME growth, and support the region’s agricultural economy. With strong connectivity and strategic positioning, Ujjain, Dewas, and Shajapur are poised to evolve into Madhya Pradesh’s leading industrial triad.
