Haveus Aerotech, a leading aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) service provider, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka to set up a state-of-the-art MRO facility.
The project entails an investment of ₹450 crore over the next five years and aims to strengthen India’s aviation maintenance ecosystem. The proposed facility will focus on advanced component MRO services, including the repair of radomes, nacelles, landing gear, and auxiliary power units. It is expected to generate employment for over 100 skilled aviation professionals, contributing to the development of specialised talent in the region. The Karnataka government will facilitate the project through streamlined regulatory processes, ensuring timely approvals, registrations, and policy support.
This development follows Haveus Aerotech’s recent approvals from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation for its operations in Delhi and Bengaluru. Notably, its Bengaluru unit has become South India’s first authorised service station for Safran Cabin Germany, underscoring the company’s growing role in advanced aircraft maintenance and the localisation of aviation services in India.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director Anshul Bhargava said the company aims to leverage Karnataka’s strong aerospace ecosystem while introducing new technologies to enhance self-reliance in MRO services, in line with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
