A World of Flavor: McDonald's Global Hub Lands in Hyderabad

US food giant McDonald’s will establish a Global Office and Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, Telangana, creating 2,000 jobs.

The announcement followed a meeting between McDonald’s Chairman and CEO Chris Kempczinski and Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the partnership spans multiple areas, reinforcing Hyderabad’s appeal as a business hub.

Kempczinski, accompanied by senior executives, highlighted Hyderabad’s skilled workforce, strong infrastructure, and high quality of life as key factors in choosing the city over Bangalore.

The Chief Minister encouraged McDonald’s to procure agricultural produce locally to support farmers’ livelihoods.
