Aerpace Industries Limited, formerly Supremex Shine Steels Limited, has unveiled major developments in its business strategy. The company will lease a 180,000 sq. ft. facility in Pune for its new research and development center. This facility, smaller than the initially planned 225,000 sq. ft., includes a 100,000 sq. ft. constructed shed and an additional 80,000 sq. ft. of open space dedicated to testing and other utilities. It will house an advanced DT Mill Milling machine from Wenzel DesignTec Inc., Germany, essential for clay modeling of vehicles and drones.
In a parallel initiative, Aerpace has launched a new solar panel manufacturing and assembly plant, named aerPower. The company has acquired a fully automatic solar panel production line with a capacity of 400 MW from Zhonghao (Wuxi) International Trade Co. Ltd. This strategic move aims to vertically integrate Aerpace’s operations and expand its product portfolio.
The aerPower facility is expected to significantly enhance the company's project timelines and revenue streams. Production is slated to begin in January 2025, with the installation of the manufacturing line set for completion by December 2024. This expansion supports Aerpace’s commitment to sustainability and its vision for a futuristic transportation ecosystem.
