Air Liquide India has unveiled a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, marking a significant stride in its expansion strategy with a ₹350 crore investment. This new facility, focusing on air separation, is poised to enhance the company's footprint in both industrial and healthcare sectors.
The Mathura plant boasts impressive production capabilities, generating over 300 tonnes of liquid oxygen and medical oxygen daily. Additionally, it will produce approximately 45 tonnes of liquid nitrogen and 12 tonnes of liquid argon each day. The facility aims to serve a broad geographic area, including the Delhi Capital Territory, Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
One of the key features of this unit is its commitment to renewable energy, with plans to achieve full operational sustainability by 2030. The medical-grade oxygen produced here will be vital for hospitals in the region, bolstering the company's role in supporting healthcare infrastructure.
Air Liquide India continues to strengthen its presence across northern and western India with various production sites, underscoring its dedication to providing essential industrial gases to diverse sectors.
