Bidding Open: SECL’s ₹44.64 Cr Utarda Development Project

South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has issued a tender for the development of a rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) site at Utarda in the Dipka area of Korba district, Chhattisgarh.

The project will be executed on a turnkey basis and includes a defect liability period of five years. The scope of work comprises earthwork for levelling and excavation at Gevra Open Cast Mine (OCM), involving excavation, transportation, and compaction of 57,001.40 cubic metres of material using heavy earthmoving machinery (HEMM). It also includes the construction of a 7.5-metre-wide cement concrete road, along with the development of essential amenities and infrastructure at the R&R site.

The estimated project cost is ₹44.64 crore. The contractor will be responsible for rectifying any defects arising during the five-year defect liability period. The bid submission deadline is February 9, 2026.
