The Pudimadaka Project: NGEL Launches Desalination Tender

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has invited bids to appoint a consultant for preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for a proposed desalination plant at the NGEL Green Hydrogen Hub in Pudimadaka, Andhra Pradesh.

The bidding process is divided into two sections. Section A covers Modules 1 to 4, which relate to comprehensive consultancy services for the overall project, while Section B comprises Module 5, specifically focused on the desalination plant component. The DPR will support the development of critical water infrastructure required for green hydrogen production.

The assignment forms a key part of NTPC’s green hydrogen initiative, which is central to India’s renewable energy transition. The contract period is 10 months, and the deadline for bid submission is January 29, 2026.
