Sify Infinit Spaces has launched South India’s largest artificial intelligence-ready data centre campus at SIPCOT Siruseri, Chennai. Inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, the facility represents a major step forward in the region’s digital infrastructure.
With a planned capacity of 130 MW, the campus is the first in India to feature an on-site open cable landing station, significantly boosting global connectivity and network performance. Tailored to support AI workloads and digital-first enterprises, the centre offers scalable infrastructure and advanced computing power.
The facility is designed with eco-friendly building management systems, setting a benchmark for sustainable data infrastructure in the country. Sify will invest ₹2,500 crore in the project, with additional funding from hyperscaler partners.
This state-of-the-art campus is poised to be a key driver of AI and digital transformation, not only for Tamil Nadu but across South India.
Raju Vegesna, Chairman and Managing Director of Sify Technologies, highlighted the company’s long-term vision: “With our cumulative investment now exceeding ₹10,000 crore—up from our initial ₹2,500 crore commitment—we are building more than infrastructure; we’re creating an ecosystem of opportunity. As this facility scales, we aim to generate employment for 10,000 people, directly and indirectly.”
Blending innovation, connectivity, and sustainability, Sify’s new data centre sets a new benchmark for India's digital future.
