Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has invited bids for the development of warehousing facilities at 34 locations across India under a public–private partnership (PPP) framework, following the design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) model.
Valued at ₹1,167 crore, the project aims to strengthen the country’s warehousing infrastructure and enhance overall logistics efficiency. The selected bidder will form a special purpose company (SPC) and will be required to sign the concession agreement within 45 days of receiving the letter of award (LoA).
The project spans multiple states, including Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala and Karnataka, among others. It features a two-stage operational timeline: Commercial Operation Date 1 (COD 1), marking the commencement of operations following site handover, and Commercial Operation Date 2 (COD 2), which will begin after the completion and commissioning of new assets.
The deadline for submission of bids is January 14, 2026.
