Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has floated a tender for the supply of an extruder and pelletizer package for the upcoming polypropylene unit (PPU) at Numaligarh Refinery in Assam.
The proposed PPU, with a design capacity of 360 KTPA, will be located in Golaghat district and will focus on the production of homo-polymer polypropylene. The project is part of Numaligarh Refinery Limited’s (NRL) expansion strategy to diversify into value-added petrochemical products. EIL is serving as the engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) consultant for the project.
The extruder and pelletizer package forms a vital component of the polymer processing system, playing a key role in the conversion of raw materials into finished polypropylene pellets.
The last date for bid submission is 30 September 2025.
