Gabs Pharma Plan to Expand Herbal Extraction in Uttarakhand

Gabs Pharma Private Limited is expanding its Herbal Extraction Manufacturing Unit at Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The expansion project is expected to significantly increase the production capacity of herbal extracts, which are used in a variety of applications, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food supplements. The total cost of the project was 5 crores.

Herbal extracts are concentrated forms of plant-based compounds that are extracted from various plant materials using different methods, such as solvent extraction, water extraction, and supercritical fluid extraction. The demand for herbal extracts is growing globally due to the increasing interest in natural and organic products. The expansion project will help to meet the growing demand for herbal extracts in India and around the world.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 70% mark. The work on the project will be finished by February of 2024.
