IIT Indore Seeks New digs! CPWD Invites Bids to Build Hostel

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has initiated the tender process for the construction of a hostel at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The proposed hostel, to be located on plot GH-04 in Simrol, IIT Indore, will comprise a RCC framed structure spanning ground-plus-six storeys. 

The scope of work encompasses various aspects including civil, electrical-mechanical, and horticultural tasks, along with the development of surrounding areas. Preliminary activities such as setting and maintaining reference points and the central line of the carriageway are also included in the project. Valued at Rs 60.25 crore, the contract stipulates a duration of 22 months from the commencement date. Interested parties are required to submit their bids by the 26th of June, 2024.
