Lucknow Announces ₹138 Crore Road Makeover!

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation has announced a significant tender for road construction work in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, with two major projects totaling Rs 138.11 crore. The first contract, valued at Rs 63.82 crore, involves constructing a road from the IGNOU Road intersection to Allen House School, and another stretch from Rajnikhand Power House to Sainik Dhaba on RaiBareily Main Road.

The second tender, worth Rs 74.29 crore, focuses on multiple road improvements under Bhartendu Harishchandra Ward. This includes a road from University Road to Hanuman Setu Dham Road via RLB Road Chauraha (Kalakankar Road), extending from Puraniya Aligang Road to Sulabh Toilet, and connecting Savitri Apartment to Nama Road and Kursi Road petrol pump.

Both projects are set to be completed within 15 months and include a five-year maintenance period to ensure long-term durability and quality of the roads. The bid submission deadline for interested contractors is July 25, 2024.

These road construction initiatives reflect a substantial investment in Lucknow’s infrastructure development, aiming to enhance connectivity and support urban growth.
