Hubballi-Dharwad Bid for Pumping Stations & STP Construction

The Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Financial Corporation (KUIDFC) has issued a tender for constructing a comprehensive sewerage system in Hubballi-Dharwad. This ambitious project includes the development of a sewage treatment plant (STP), among other infrastructure.

The project encompasses a wide range of tasks: constructing, supplying, installing, and commissioning sewage pumping stations, the STP, and an extensive sewerage network. Additionally, it involves the installation of inspection chambers, roadworks, road restoration, and the operation and maintenance of the entire system. The STP will utilize the Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) process, incorporating advanced treatment units like a stilling chamber and mechanical fine screens with channels.

With a project value of Rs 62.94 crore, this initiative underscores KUIDFC's commitment to enhancing urban infrastructure. The advanced SCADA system for instrumentation and control further ensures efficient and reliable operation of the sewerage network.

Interested bidders must submit their proposals by the deadline of July 20, 2024. This project represents a significant investment in the city's infrastructure, aiming to improve sanitation and support sustainable urban growth​.
