Mehai Technology Limited has clinched a significant contract worth Rs. 855.00 crores from Sungevity Enterprises Private Limited (SEPL). The project, located at SEPL's office in the Mindspace Building, Malad West, Mumbai, encompasses the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a Smart Solar Street Light System. Additionally, Mehai Technology will provide a Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) for five years, which includes a Remote Monitoring System (RMS).
This substantial order, forming a part of the 'Mukhyamantri Gramin Solar Street Light Yojana' in Bihar, involves the delivery of 300,000 solar street lights. Each unit will feature 20W luminaries, 12.8V 54AH Lithium Ferro Phosphate batteries, and 120W polycrystalline solar PV modules. The contract, effective from July 8, 2024, mandates adherence to stringent tender specifications.
Mehai Technology is expected to complete the project within six months from the issuance of the work order. The execution phase will be followed by a comprehensive five-year maintenance period to ensure the sustained functionality of the street lights. This project not only reinforces Mehai Technology's leadership in solar solutions but also contributes significantly to rural infrastructure development in Bihar.
