NTT’s Big Mumbai Play: A ₹559 Crore Data Center Expansion

NTT Global Data Centers (NTT GDC) has acquired an 11-storey data centre in Mumbai for ₹559.24 crore, strengthening its presence in India’s rapidly expanding data centre market.

The property, known as DC-10, is located in Balaji IT Park and spans 30,195 sq m (325,016 sq ft), along with an additional four-storey diesel generator facility. The asset was previously owned by actor Jeetendra and his son Tusshar Kapoor through Tusshar Infra Developers.

This acquisition follows NTT’s purchase of a 2.39-acre site in the same IT park in June 2025, which also involved the Kapoor family.

As part of its accelerated global expansion strategy, NTT continues to scale its operations in India, where it now operates over 18 data centres. Mumbai remains a key hub, alongside other fast-growing markets such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
