RenewSys Gears Up: 30 GW for a Brighter Solar Tomorrow

RenewSys, India’s first integrated manufacturer of solar PV modules and their key components, has announced a major expansion of its encapsulant production capacity. The company is adding eight new manufacturing lines at its Khopoli facility in Maharashtra, increasing its total number of operational encapsulant lines to 19 across all sites.

With seven new lines already commissioned and four more scheduled for 2025, RenewSys is set to achieve a cumulative installed encapsulant capacity of 30 GW. This expansion strengthens its position to meet the growing global and domestic demand for high-performance solar encapsulants.

RenewSys offers advanced encapsulant technologies, including Transparent Backsheets, Anti-Acid Encapsulants, as well as EVA, POE, and EPE products. Additionally, the company is developing a 2.5 GW high-efficiency solar cell line. Headquartered in Mumbai, RenewSys is the renewable energy division of the ENPEE Group.
