₹3,642 Crore Bet: Dalmia Bharat's Northeast Cement Vision

This expansion increases the company's total cement manufacturing capacity in the Northeast to 8 MnT and its nationwide capacity to 49 MTPA. It is part of a ₹3,642 crore investment announced in May 2023 to strengthen market presence and meet rising regional demand. Additionally, a 3.6 MnT integrated clinker unit, linked to this grinding facility, is in the final stages of commissioning and is expected to be operational by Q2 FY26.

With over a decade of operations in the Northeast, Dalmia Bharat runs four cement plants—three in Assam and one in Meghalaya—supporting major infrastructure projects such as the Dhola-Sadiya Bridge, Sela Tunnel, and Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge. The company also actively invests in social initiatives, including skill development, community welfare, and environmental conservation, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable growth.
