SEDEMAC Mechatronics plans to expand its manufacturing operations after reporting a 61 percent year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹1,058 crore for financial year 2026.
The Pune-based automotive control systems company said growth was supported by strong global demand for its electronic control units (ECUs) across markets including India, the United States and Europe. To support future expansion, the company is developing a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Chakan near Pune, dedicated to ECU production, with commercial shipments expected to begin in the second quarter of FY27.
SEDEMAC is also planning a 9,000-square-foot facility for electric machines, scheduled to become operational in the third quarter, while simultaneously establishing a manufacturing base in southern India through the acquisition of 13 acres in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu. The new hub is intended to improve logistics and supply timelines for regional original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
The company expects future growth to be driven by increasing electric vehicle demand and upcoming product launches, including integrated starter generator ECUs for high-volume motorcycle models and expanded production of motor control units for electric two-wheelers.
