Sinclairs Hotels has announced the acquisition of two new properties in Rajasthan, marking the company’s debut in North India. The properties, Sinclairs Palace Retreat Udaipur and Sinclairs Udaipur, are set to enhance the company's portfolio and cater to the region's booming tourism and wedding industry.
Sinclairs Palace Retreat Udaipur, located on Haldighati Road, spans five acres and features 90 rooms and suites, along with five cottages. The property also boasts a 7,000 sq. ft. banquet hall, a conference room, a multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant, and a swimming pool. It is strategically situated near popular tourist spots like the Shrinathji Temple and Haldighati, making it a prime location for weddings, conferences, and family vacations. Operations are expected to begin in December 2024.
The second property, Sinclairs Udaipur, is a 56-room hotel located at RK Circle. It includes a large banquet hall and a multi-cuisine restaurant, targeting corporate clients, FITs, and wedding groups. This property is scheduled to open its doors in October 2024.
With the addition of these 151 rooms, Sinclairs Hotels will increase its total room count by 33 percent, bringing the chain's total to 598 rooms. The expansion is anticipated to significantly boost the company's revenues and profitability in the coming years.
Sinclairs has ambitious plans to further expand in Rajasthan, with a goal to create a cluster of five to six properties and increase its total key count to 1,000 within the next three years.
