Steelcase Secures Long-Term Growth with Strategic Pune Lease

Steelcase Asia Pacific Holdings India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of US-based office furniture and workspace solutions leader Steelcase, has leased approximately 130,000 sq. ft. of industrial space at IndoSpace Industrial Park in Chakan, Pune. This move underscores the company’s continued investment in and commitment to its Indian operations.

The long-term lease spans over five years and includes a three-year lock-in period, offering operational stability. The facility, housed in two units within a building owned by IndoSpace Park Chakan 1 D—a subsidiary of industrial and logistics park developer IndoSpace—will support Steelcase’s regional growth strategy.

Located near Pune, Chakan is a prominent industrial hub known for its strategic connectivity and robust infrastructure, making it an attractive destination for global and domestic enterprises.
