The Greater Noida Authority has initiated land acquisition for the development of two major arterial roads aimed at significantly improving regional connectivity, particularly in view of the upcoming Noida International Airport. One proposed road, with a width of 105 metres, will link the Alpha-1 Commercial Belt to National Highway-91 (NH-91), while the second road, 130 metres wide, will extend towards the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area near the airport.
The land acquisition process is being carried out with the consent of farmers, and dedicated camps are planned to expedite the proceedings. Construction is scheduled to commence in 2026, with priority given to currently stalled stretches. Once completed, the new corridors will enhance connectivity between Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi, Gurugram, Hapur, and adjoining regions, strengthen access to the proposed multimodal transport hub, and provide an alternative and efficient route to the airport.
The project is expected to deliver substantial mobility and economic benefits to residents of western Uttar Pradesh and nearby urban centres.
