Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TRIL) has announced a significant milestone, securing orders worth ₹252 crore from three domestic clients. The contracts were awarded by SPIL, KEPIPL, and JSPL, with each order valued at ₹91 crore, ₹70 crore, and ₹91 crore, respectively. These orders highlight the company's robust position in the transformer manufacturing industry and its ability to meet diverse client needs.
The orders include the supply of transformers and reactors ranging from 50 to 500 MVA and 33 kV to 420 kV class, showcasing TRIL's technical expertise and product range. These transformers are expected to be delivered by the next financial year, reinforcing the company’s commitment to timely and efficient project execution. Notably, these contracts are part of TRIL's regular business operations and do not involve related party transactions.
As India’s second-largest transformer manufacturer by capacity, TRIL operates three state-of-the-art plants near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company has built a solid reputation for producing a wide array of transformers, including power, distribution, furnace, and specialty transformers. These recent orders further strengthen TRIL's position in the domestic market while also underlining its growing influence in the global arena.
