VA Tech Wabag Launches New Chennai Subsidiary for TTRO Plant

VA Tech Wabag has informed stock exchanges that it has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary, North Chennai Tru Water Private Ltd, in Chennai with an initial paid-up capital of ₹1 lakh. The capital consists of 10,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each.

The company said the new entity will undertake the Refurbishment, Finance, Operate, Maintain and Transfer (RFOMT) of a 45 million litres per day tertiary treatment reverse osmosis (TTRO) plant at Kodungaiyur. The project is aimed at strengthening wastewater treatment and reuse infrastructure in the region.

According to the filing, the subsidiary was incorporated with effect from April 1, 2026, and is registered with the Registrar of Companies in Chennai.
