ITC Hotels has unveiled plans to establish a new 200-key hotel in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 328 crore. Scheduled for completion by 2029, this will be ITC’s first owned property in the city.
While ITC currently does not own any hotels in Vishakhapatnam, it manages two properties under contract: the 104-room Welcomhotel Devee Grand Bay and the 68-room Fortune Inn Sree Kanya, operated through a wholly owned subsidiary.
This new development reflects ITC Hotels’ broader strategy to expand its footprint in high-growth markets across India. The project also underscores Vishakhapatnam’s emergence as a prominent business and leisure destination, drawing increasing interest from major hospitality brands. Through this investment, ITC reinforces its commitment to catering to the growing demand for premium accommodations in India’s rapidly developing urban centers.
